End Of The Year Book Tag

Hey everybody, I hope you’re having a wonderful day. It’s time to do this amazing tag in which I was tagged by the loveliest Nikki @ The Night Is Dark and Full of Books. The tag was created by Ariel Bissett, who is my favorite BookTuber of all time! So, without further ado, let’s get started.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Actually, I just finished the book I started early this year and had to read. It was I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver. Such an incredible book and a must-read.

However, I need to finish reading the book I started a few days ago, which is Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett and I’m not in the mood for it, and it’s scaring me a little bit, because what if I end up leaving it halfway. πŸ˜₯

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I don’t really read books according to the season. However, I do think I have one. It’s Mooncakes! I really need to read this book.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Not really! Most of my most anticipated books got released in October, and I haven’t even had a chance to read them yet. I think I’ve just added them to my TBR and I’m not really gonna read them, and this thought is enough to make me sad for the whole night! Sed lyf.

What are the three books you need to read before the end of the year?

The first one is Swipe Right for Murder. I’ve had this on my TBR ever since I got to know about it and I read the sample some time ago and enjoyed it but forgot about it later. I actually wanna check the audiobook out.

I also need to read How to Build a Heart. It comes out in January, and I need to read it in December so that I can plan reading other ARC’s at least a month before their releases.

Another book that I wanna read is a classic and it’s called The Catcher in the Rye. I was planning to read it in January 2020 but I’ll be busy with classes and assignments and preparing for my finals and DELF and I might end up reading more graphic novels instead.

Is there a book that could still shock you and become your favorite of the year?

I don’t think so, but I would love for a book to become my favorite of the year, especially because I’ve already read my fave book, which was Red, White & Royal Blue, and it would be amazing to see a book trump it.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

Yes? No? I’m probably the worst person on the planet for not actually sticking to my plans and I also think there are a million ways your year could pan out, so I don’t like making plans at all.

However, I’ve decided to read a French book or two. Also, I would love to read the Harry Potter series! Can you believe it? My Goodreads reading challenge is gonna be 5 books — that’s pretty boring but works fine for me. I don’t want to stress myself out with plans and responsibilities and all that stuff.

It was so much fun answering this tag. I hope you enjoyed it. I tag:
