3 Heartwarming LGBTQ+ Movies and Series You Should Watch

Hi, I hope you guys are okay! I think most you guys are probably not feeling as good due to the pandemic. Honestly, the last few days have been super hard for me too, so I’m assuming you guys are going through the same, so here I am with 3 TV shows and movies that you should totally watch to escape from our terrible reality.

The Half of It (Movie)

This movie is so adorable — I hope they make a part 2 as well that focuses on the relationship of the characters a little more than this one did. If you love a love triangle of sorts, and a story of friendship so heartwarming that it makes you aww, look no further. This is a story of friendship, first love, struggles, and healing. Just a sweet story overall, even if a bit anticlimactic (only for me, I know!), which is what life is like most of the times. Overall, it was such a cute and adorable story and I wish they release a sequel too.

I’m Not Okay With This (Series)

This is a story of a girl who’s recently lost her dad and is struggling with grief in a way, and it seems like she has some sort of superpowers. ๐Ÿฆนโ€โ™€๏ธA cute but mildly dark tale of grief, first love, mental illness, discovering yourself and friendship. The second season just got cancelled and I’m so bummed about it? Here are a few reasons you should watch the only existing season though: 1) it’s mind blowing. You’ll come to know how, 2) Stan is literally my favorite character and he’s very adorable — I wish I was friends with him, 3) it’s super gay, and Dina and Syd are my OTP. How I wish they’d gotten together and the series focused just a tiny bit more of their romance.

Love, Victor (Series)

I was cursing Disney out when this show was taken by Hulu, sorry to everybody who doesn’t have Hulu in their countries, including mine. I just keep watching their videos on YouTube and have probably watched clips from all of the episodes. Tbh, they should release it in other countries too ): Anyway, it still seems like a pretty bomb show. For those who don’t know, it deals with friendships, love, discovering yourself, and all those sorts of things that you do in teenage. It’s coming back for Season 2, for those who’re gonna watch it!

So, that’s all for today, guys! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday. I know amazing things are waiting for you after this pandemic ends!

What are you guys watching? Give me some of your recommendations! ๐Ÿ’–
